One of the original members of Team Toxic / PokemonToxic, Tyler, is an upstate New York Masters Division Trading Card player. Growing up in the area his entire life, he first became interested playing competitively in the summer of 2010, but didn't know any locals in the area that were interested. It wasn't until 3 years later that he started doing research into competitive play and purchased cards for a viable deck, which is when he got his best friend, Bryan, into the Pokemon TCG. Both players found a league in the area and started to hone their skills until finally going to their first City Championship in the fall of 2013. Tyler prefers aggressive decks such as Yveltal and Plasma, but sometimes will play defensive decks like FairyBox. Notable accomplishments of the previous season (2015) was a Top 32 at Fort Wayne Winter Regionals with Yveltal Victini, Top 32 Kitchner, Ontario Regionals with ToadPuff/Swampert, Top 32 Overland Park, Wisconsin Regionals with FairyBox, and a 2nd place finish at the Erie, Pennsylvania City. One thing to note about Tyler that he is infamous for is that he will usually change his deck the night of a big tournament, much to his chagrin.
